Risk Disclosure Statement

Effective Date: April 11, 2026

⚠️

IMPORTANT RISK WARNING

Trading stocks, options, futures, and other financial instruments involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for all investors. You may lose more than your initial investment. Past performance is not indicative of future results. Doc-AI is a technology tool — it is not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, or financial institution.

1. General Market Risk

All investments involve risk. The value of securities can decrease as well as increase. Economic conditions, market sentiment, geopolitical events, and company-specific factors can adversely affect the price of any security. There is no guarantee that any investment strategy will achieve its objectives.

2. Equity Trading Risk

  • Stock prices can fall to zero, resulting in a total loss of investment.
  • Individual stocks can be significantly more volatile than diversified portfolios.
  • Small-cap and micro-cap stocks carry higher risks including illiquidity and manipulation risk.
  • Earnings announcements and news events can cause rapid, significant price moves.

3. Options Risk

  • Options are complex derivatives that can expire worthless, resulting in a 100% loss of premium paid.
  • Selling uncovered (naked) options carries theoretically unlimited loss potential.
  • Options pricing is affected by time decay (theta), which works against option buyers.
  • Implied volatility changes can significantly impact option values.
  • Doc-AI's options P&L calculations and Greeks are estimates and may not reflect actual market conditions.

4. Futures Risk

  • Futures contracts are leveraged instruments. A small adverse price movement can result in losses exceeding your initial margin deposit.
  • Futures markets operate nearly 24 hours a day, and prices can move significantly during off-hours.
  • Margin calls may require immediate additional funding or forced liquidation at unfavorable prices.

5. Algorithmic & Automated Trading Risk

Doc-AI's auto-trade and copy-trading features execute trades automatically. Risks include:

  • Software errors or bugs that cause unintended orders.
  • Connectivity failures that prevent order execution or cancellation.
  • Algorithms that perform well in backtesting may fail in live markets.
  • Copying another trader's strategy does not guarantee similar results.
  • You are solely responsible for monitoring automated trades and managing risk.

6. AI Signal Risk

Doc-AI's AI signals are generated by machine learning models trained on historical data. These signals:

  • Are not guaranteed to be accurate or profitable.
  • May reflect patterns that no longer hold in current market conditions.
  • Should not be used as the sole basis for any trading decision.
  • Carry no implied or explicit warranty of future performance.

7. Data Risk

Market data displayed in Doc-AI may be delayed, inaccurate, or unavailable. Do not rely solely on Doc-AI's price quotes, charts, or fundamental data for time-sensitive trading decisions. Always verify critical data with your broker before executing trades.

8. Pattern Day Trader (PDT) Rule

If you execute 4 or more day trades in a 5 business day period in a margin account with less than $25,000, your broker may designate you a Pattern Day Trader. This restricts trading activity. Doc-AI tracks PDT counts as a courtesy — the binding count is maintained by your broker. Verify with your broker.

9. Tax Considerations

Trading profits may be subject to short-term capital gains taxes at ordinary income rates. Wash sale rules may disallow certain losses. Options and futures have specific tax treatment rules. Consult a qualified tax professional for advice applicable to your situation.

10. Suitability

Before trading, honestly assess:

  • Your financial situation and ability to absorb losses.
  • Your investment objectives and risk tolerance.
  • Your knowledge and experience with the instruments you intend to trade.

If you are unsure whether trading is appropriate for you, seek independent financial advice before proceeding.

By using Doc-AI, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted the risks described in this disclosure. You confirm that you are trading with risk capital — money you can afford to lose without affecting your standard of living.
